Examination gloves

Examination gloves

Medical examination gloves are indispensable in healthcare. They help prevent the transmission of pathogens and provide protection against chemicals, cytostatics and/or micro-organisms.

There are many different types of gloves, made from materials such as latex, nitrile or vinyl, each with its own fit and properties.

Choosing the right medical examination gloves is crucial for optimal protection, comfort and performance.

The powder-free alternative to latex

The SC® Value PF examination gloves are 100% latex-free. Based on a special composition, the SC® Value glove offers superior fit and stretch, coupled with excellent tactile sensitivity. It is the non-latex alternative that approximates the physical properties and experience of the traditional latex examination glove. Due to the absence of NRL proteins and the known accelerators, the risk of developing an allergy (Type I and IV) is prevented.

This glove is powder-free to provide optimal protection for specific needs and circumstances. Instead of powder, a polyurethane coating has been applied, which also ensures that the glove is easy to put on under all circumstances.

The “cuff 1stTM dispensing” mechanism contributes to the prevention of cross-contamination

SC® Nitrile gloves are folded in such a way that each glove comes out of the dispenser box via the cuff. This prevents the user from touching the other gloves in the inner box or the dispenser itself when removing a glove.  The “cuff 1stTM dispensing” mechanism offers many advantages over traditional packaging:

  • The “cuff 1stTM dispensing” mechanism contributes to the prevention of cross-contamination and supports you in your infection prevention policy.
  • The special packaging mechanism ensures that the user does not touch the other gloves in the inner box or the dispenser itself when removing a glove.
  • Once placed in the dispenser, the user no longer needs to touch the inner box.
  • Each glove can be put on in a hygienic manner without touching the fingers and palm of the glove.
  • Parts of the glove that touch the patient are never touched by the “cuff 1stTM dispensing” mechanism.
  • It is not possible to put gloves back in the box.
  • Only 1 glove comes out of the dispenser at a time, which reduces your use and waste.
  • The compact wall holder keeps the gloves far away from infected surfaces.
